Well, the blog name says it all really. My name is Christine Williams and the picture above shows me, my husband Graeme and our lovely little boy, Daniel. I've recently started to look into my family tree, partly for my own interest, and partly because I want to be able to tell Daniel all about who he is and where our families come from. When he's old enough to ask, that is. He's only twentyone months old at the moment and so isn't asking for anything much at the moment, other than his favourite DVD and for second helpings at mealtime.

I've been researching my side of the family (Woodburns, Jarretts and Sloans) and my mother-in-law (also called Christine Williams) has been researching my husband Graeme's side. She's been working at her family tree for quite a bit longer than I have mine but hopefully the two sides should even out with time.

I'm new to blogging so this is probably going to be a bit hit and miss, at least at first, but hopefully I'll get better with time. In the meantime, my apologies for any glaring mistakes that I make!
